A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing;
our helper he amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing.
For still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe;
his craft and power are great, and armed with cruel hate, on earth is not his equal.

were not the right man on our side, the man of God’s own choosing.
Dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is he;
Lord Sabaoth, his name, from age to age the same, and he must win the battle.
And though this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us,

The Prince of Darkness grim, we tremble not for him;

I am not an “End Times†person. I do not look at a specific event and see it as a fulfilled prophecy of Revelation or Daniel. However, I do think it is wisdom to realize that time continues to roll on and Jesus is coming back at the time set by the Father.
Our world is filled with evil. Terrorism is the easy demon to identify. Satan as taken the faith of Islam and twisted it into a Jihad of his making. It is no different than his twisting Christianity into the KKK.
I met a man the other day whose daughter was murdered as she was walking to class at the local university. Random act. He has had to wrestle with God in order to move forward in his life.
Another friend’s son died in a car accident last week. Single car. Lord, what is going on?
Someone I know in Homeland Security tells me they thwart plans every day that have bombs blowing up populated area/events.
No matter what happens – God is Lord Sabaoth – Yahweh of the Armies! Have you read the end of the Book? I have! Jesus wins! God reigns! We are His children! God is the One to run to when the bullets fly and walls are caving in. Even when the earth shakes, God is the Fortress that will stand.
